Snake River trips are normally planned for 4 Days/3 Nights. Groups of 12 or more can plan 3, 4, 5, and 6 Day Trips. Check with HRE office.

4 Day Expedition - $1315/adult; $1190/youth
5 Day Expedition - $1615/adult; $1465/youth
6 Day Expedition - $1825/adult; $1640/youth

Snake River fishing boat rates: 2 fishermen/boat & guide. 3 Days @$1250/person; 4 Days @$1650/person; 5 Days @$2030/person; 6 Days @$2415/person. Tackle and gear provided.

*Motorless Window Dates. US Forest Service Snake River management provides for Mon., Tues., Wed. to be motorless between Wild Sheep Rapids and Kirkwood Bar every other week during June-August. 2012 Motorless Window Dates are: June 4-6, June 18-20, July 9-11, July 23-25, August 6-8, and August 20-22.

Snake/Hells Canyon rafting season is mid-April through mid-October. Charter Groups can plan trips before May 26 and after September 10.

Recreation Enhancement Act Fee requires collection of $4.00/day/person. This fee will be added to the above listed trip cost.

Flight Cost from Stanley to the Middle Fork is about $120/person when required by road, weather, and water conditions. Check with our office for exact flight cost.

The Salmon River Canyon boating season runs from early July through mid-October. Many of the trips we outfit on the Salmon River Canyon are planned for charter groups on dates of their choice. Check for details.

Optional “Charter Trip” Transportation for end of trip. Jet boat pick up near Geneva Bar, with drop off at Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston/Clarkston. @$85/person (2011 rates). Check for details.

  • Middle Fork prices do not include $4/person/day Forest Service Recreation Fee.
  • Trip Interruption and Cancellation Insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase this insurance to protect your investment in river trip reservations.
  • Motels and meals before and after the trip.
  • Bush pilot flights to the Middle Fork when necessary.
  • Gratuities.
